It Is A Gift...
It Is A Gift...
Bret and I were on a walk a few days ago and I was hoping to see a beautiful sunrise... There is just something about seeing the sunrise that makes a day special. It was pretty early, so at first, the sky was just kind of blah and cloudy. I thought "Well not today I guess..." Then I saw a glimmer of yellow rising up in the east and the light became more intent and deep colors began to ripple across the clouds. The deepest yellows oranges pinks and reds are complemented by white, deep lavender, grays, and calming blues. I hurried and took a few pictures thinking I would like to share them with the family...At that very moment, I get a message...it is on our family chat. My daughter Tara was witnessing the same sunrise and wanted to share it with everyone. I laughed and sent her my picture which looked much the same. Then another text. This time from McKenna...She was just leaving her early work shift and was just commenting on the beauty of the sunrise to her fellow employees when she received our texts. Then another text...Our daughter in Nashville had recently had a similar experience and sent a picture of a similar sunrise from her midwest location. Why had we all been so in tune at that moment I do not know, but it was amazing!
Like a surprise wrapped up with all the potential one could imagine, each new day... is a gift.
