My Little Farm... I wish you could be here right now, the sweet little chirping sounds coming from the other room where our new baby chicks are being warmed and cared for in their cozy little container that we adapted for them to be for the first couple weeks of life. We have been planning for weeks with our little grandkids to get some baby chicks. They have been over every week to help clean out the old pen and put together a new nesting house for the chickens to have the best chance to thrive. So, last Thursday the new chicks were arriving at the nearest IFA store. We have already missed a couple of new chick days and they were all sold before we even got a chance so we knew we had to be on the ball this time new chicks came in. We called the kids and arranged to pick up Jack and Clay as soon as the store opened, about an hour before the boys had to go to school. We headed out to get our new chicks.
